Rock Community School

Rock Community School is located in the south of Uganda. It was founded in 2009, as a part of Rock Community Schools -Uganda, a project of The Rock World Foundation Ministries. In the Buikwe district, a multi-ethnic community with a population of about 78050 where 57% are minors (under 18 years old), RCS provides an elementary education to 180 children living in the surrounding villages. This small school, with its 12 teachers and limited resources provides hope, care, and a sense of belonging in a safe community environment.

I have visited Rock Community Church and School three times since 2009. Pastor James and his capable staff are doing an amazing work here. God is blessing their efforts. Ask the Lord how He would have you be part of raising up God’s children to bring God’s will in heaven to earth in Kakunyu. Prayer is essential, but so is practical help. As God has told us in the letter of James, 1:27 “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

    • mum, it is been long without accessing this page. But we’re really grateful for your morale support and help towards the school. We’re progressing, mum, but with a lot of challenges. We sometimes want to lose morale but God always strengthen us. We’re been not having the logins for this website, but we got them, so am able to read comments. Please we sigh for your help and support. The school is going on but with financial challenges, especially payment of teachers, building and accomodation for teachers. And we are also thinking of a hostel section. Pray with us and support is highly welcome!

  6. May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you as you open your hands to the heavenly Father of abundance to reach out to the children incarcerated, less fortunate , disadvantaged children during this Easter EVE. A prayer is a vibrant weapon the keeps us focused to the All Sufficient God. Open hand of feeding the less fortunate is an ACT OF LOVE God blesses those hands

  7. Greetings from RavenzCall Inc. A ministry from California USA that helps children exploited by war, sexual trafficking and labor. Our prayers are with you.
Every day we will pray for you and all at the school. May the Lord keep you, guide you, and give you peace!

    • Toni, We’re so grateful that you out there are praying and supporting us. Yes, pray until something happens for the Rock Family to Sprout and flourish. Thank you co much. Waiting for the time God will call you to Uganda, and visit the Rock Family here in Central Uganda, to meet with children so deprived of human living, but only God helping them to survive. Much blessing!

  8. Blessed is He/she who comes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks for praying and supporting
