Rock Community School is located in the south of Uganda. It was founded in 2009, as a part of Rock Community Schools -Uganda, a project of The Rock World Foundation Ministries. In the Buikwe district, a multi-ethnic community with a population of about 78050 where 57% are minors (under 18 years old), RCS provides an elementary education to 180 children living in the surrounding villages. This small school, with its 12 teachers and limited resources provides hope, care, and a sense of belonging in a safe community environment.
Mr. James Kibowe, a professional social worker, and the Executive Director and Overseer, shares his passion for children especially neglected, abandoned, orphaned and incarcerated children in this part of the world.
